From the East	Take Highway 5 west through Victoria. Once through Victoria watch for these Landmarks: green sign for Laketown Road, Horse Accupuncture Vet Clinic on the righthand side of Highway 5. The next left you can take is Scandia Road -- there is a red barn on the right directly across from Scandia. Take a left onto Scandia Road. Follow Scandia (southbound) until the road comes to a T at Airport Road. Take a right onto Airport Road (heading west). 8775 Airport Road is the second house on the left after the airport.
From the West	Take Highway 5 East to the intersection of Highway 284 and Highway 5. Continue east on Highway 5; the next intersection is County Road 10. Take a right (south) onto County Road 10. Take the first left you can -- there's a grave yard on the corner -- this is Airport Road. Follow Airport Road east for about two miles. Watch for 8775 Airport Road. It's the second to the last house on the right-hand side.

To Shady Lane Sportsmen's Club:

Go West on Highway 5, which turns into 212 in Norwood/Young America. Follow 212 West through Glencoe to Ideal Avenue (watch for blaze orange marker on sign by Ideal Ave.). Left on Ideal 3.4 miles (dirt road) to Shady Lanes Sportsmen�s Club.

Adult only DNR gun safety hunters permit class.

As you know my wife and I are volunteer DNR gun safety instructors. Myself, Bubba from Cabin fever and my wife will be putting on an adult only DNR gun safety field test day at Goose lake after deer hunting. So go on line and do the online course at the DNR web site. When finished you can be apart of this super fun day at the Goose lake and get your hunters permit so you can get a Minnesota hunting license. We will also be doing a short gun safety course to bring every one up to date with semi autos and guns you may not have much experience with. How about a Machine gun demo? Week day or week end private all day classes.

These classes are good for all skill levels, and for all people who want to learn real handgun proficiency needed for self defense. This is great for those who want a private one on one or with you partner. You can use any hand gun you want I have over 20 guns to borrow. Includes 3 hours of actual range time, we can clean and disassemble your gun if you want. The objective of this course is to get you comfortable not just to carry, but to shoot if needed. The class is wrapped up with a permit to carry course so you will leave with everything you need to apply for your multi state permit. $250 per person minimum (2 persons) on week ends, includes ammo. Free Class for College Students!

We will again be doing our 3rd free class for collage students check back regularly for dates. We want to do something for the college students to thank them for their efforts and sacrifices and hard work. The first 100 students to sign up for this class will not pay any class fee. Just $5 for paper work and a $10 range fee. Lunch will be available for $5. The class will be at Shady Lanes Sportsmen club in Glencoe. Non-students regular pricing. You must be a full time student and have a valid current student ID, email a scan of it to enroll. This class is open to all others at the normal rate of $75 new and $55 renewal.

National Match Rifle?

So what am I up to? I am finally getting into National Match service rifle and the long range rifle sport. I purchased some guns, a brand new Armalite ARM15A2NM, a DPMS LR.308 24" bull barrel, and the same in .223. To top them off a pair of 4-25 power side focus scopes. I also purchased the mitt and variouse things from Creedmore sports. I finally ran into some one else who wants to throw a lot of money at another hobby. If you have any knowlage of this sport, or any advise let me know. I also have had a lot of people ask me about getting stuff from Creedmore Sports again so I am looking into becoming a dealer in this type of product again. I have my own 1000 yd range at my lake home. Its my private airstrip I built over 10 years ago so we can fly right in from home here the waconia air port where I have a hanger.

Gun Transfers
If you are a student of mine I will handle the transfer of (1) gun for free if you buy a gun on line, all additional guns will be $20. I will handle transferes for the general public always for $20. Order the gun call me and I will email you my FFL pdf file for you to send to the seller. Always try first to buy a gun from the gun stores I list on my references page.
